In addition to the tank, you will need a hood and lighting to show off the colours of the fish and provide energy for the plants to grow. Other main accessories include an air pump and air stone to provide oxygen exchange, filter, gravel, thermometer and heater. For the more advanced aquarist we also sell water conditioners and test kits. Artificial aquatic plants (plastic & nylon) are available for easy maintenance. To add a certain touch to your tank we stock a vast array of ornaments along with wood, stone and gravel available in every colour of the rainbow.

WOOD
At Lynwoods we stock a selection of wood. From 6 inches to 3 foot plus. We also stock a range of fans to compliment any type of tank.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL FILTERS
At Lynwoods we stock the latest ranges of internal and external filters along with all the spares and accessories. There are 3 types of filtration, biological, mechanical and chemical. All tanks have biological filtration which breaks down toxic ammonia. Chemical filtration is a useful solution for a number of problematic conditions. For mechanical filtration we offer several types of internal filters, power head and canister filter types including Fluval, Interpet, AquaOne, Aquarium Systems, Hydor and Eheim.
HEATERS AND THERMOSTATS
If you keep or are going to buy either marine fish or tropical fish you will need a heater to regulate the water temperture to your fishes natural surroundings.

LIGHTING
At Lynwoods we stock all the latest lighting available. We hold over 300 tubes in stock, including T8 and the latest T5 for Juwel. We also stock T5 Compacts & Arcadia starter units for T5 & T8's plus overhead luminars. All brands including Halogens can be ordered on request. All lighting at very competitive prices.
FOOD, VITAMINS, MEDICINE & TEST KITS
At Lynwoods we have a large variety of fish food for all types of fish, flakes, pellets, a big variety of frozen food, seaweed, holiday tabs, a range of vitamins to keep your fish fighting fit and we even stock live food - Brine shrimp, Bloodworm & River Shrimp.
We stock medicines for the majority of fishes ailments should they become ill. We are also introducing 'Aqua Medic' + Sera into our already vast stock.
